My Story
The girl who sold golf balls and lemonade
I always knew I was an entrepreneur. Collecting golf balls from the course by my house and selling them along with icy lemonade. Making flyers to walk neighborhood dogs. Babysitting every weekend as soon as I turned 13.
But school? Yeah, not my thing. Staying inside the lines with what teachers would tell me did not happen. Most called me a lost cause and couldn’t understand my “rebellion”. I just thought differently. I made it through high school and college only because of my greatest love- I played soccer, so I followed enough rules to get by.
At the same time, I loved my friends, I loved working, I traveled every chance I got, and I was playing soccer through it all.
My First Home
When I bought my first house in Pleasanton– my Realtor was so insensitive, valuing her commission over my needs.
I thought, “I could do this. I would absolutely stand by another when they’re going through this unknown journey. All I have to do it listen and do the right thing. SO EASY.” And there was my moment. At age 28, my real estate career was born .
When life turned on its head
I was a single mom to an 11, 13, 15, and 17-year-old. I had a house in the Bay Area and at my lowest point, had $.34 in my bank account. Everything was taken away from me, financially and spiritually.
So. I sold my house and bet everything on San Diego. People called me ‘flighty’ but one thing was for sure– the ocean was calling and I was determined to do anything to have a new start.
9 years later– I tear up when I think of how that bold decision created a chance for my kids to see that anything is possible.
Now, I’ve been a Realtor for over 22 years, and nothing drives me more than being that person who helps women making a change find the courage that powers up her next phase of life.
Fun Facts About Tiffany
- I started playing soccer at age 6, through high school/college, traveled internationally and still play competitively (as competitively as it gets at this age!)
- At age 31- I had 4 kids under the age of 7
- I can not/will not start my day without a cortado with oat milk from Peet's
